
Young Artists Showcase Talent At Unique Group’s Annual Art Competition

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2025) The Unique Group of Institutions (UGIs) organised its annual art competitions, with the closing ceremony presided over by Chairman Professor Abdul Manan Khurram.
Distinguished guests included Director of the Pakistan Council of Arts, Fatima Salman, and Head of the Fine Arts Department, Government College for Women, Gulberg, Dr Sarosh Tariq.
Top-performing students from over 80 campuses of the Unique Group participated in the competition. The young artists showcased their creativity by producing remarkable artworks on a variety of themes and poetic verses.
Chairman Professor Abdul Manan Khurram, accompanied by Chairperson Saadia Khurram, Rector Professor Amjad Ali Khan, Vice Chairman Afif Ashraf Siddiqui, Director Professor Waseem Anwar Chaudhry, Additional Director Muhammad Abdullah, and other guests, visited the exhibition area and admired the artistic creations of the participating students.
Expressing his views on the occasion, Prof Abdul Manan Khurram said that art competitions help nurture children’s creative abilities and intellectual growth, adding that such events should be a regular feature of every educational institution’s annual Calendar.
He highlighted the important role of arts in the personality development of children, saying that witnessing the young artists’ talent and imagination was truly heartening.
A large number of teachers and students attended the event, making it a lively celebration of creativity and learning.
