National Women Karate Championship To Start On Nov, 8

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2016 ) - Country's top female karate players will be seen in action during the 10th National Women Karate Championship being played here from Tuesday at Gymnasium Hall of Nishter Park sports Complex.
Teams from all the affiliated units of Pakistan Karate Federation including Army, WAPDA, Railways, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Islamabad and FATA will participate in the event, said a spokesman of PKF on Monday.
Wapda is all set to defend the title in the event which will help in identifying new female karate talent, he said. Following events/weight categories will be contested in the competition, Individual Kumite, 45 Kg, 50 Kg, 55 Kg, 61 Kg, 68 Kg, above 68 KG, team Kumite, individual Kata and team Kata. Malik Pervaiz MNA will inaugurate the championship.
