GENEVA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st july,2016) - The International Olympic Committee's executive board will hold a conference call on Sunday to discuss banning Russia from the Rio Games over state-run doping, an IOC spokesperson told AFP.
"There will be a conference call on Sunday led by the IOC president (Thomas Bach)," a spokesperson for the organisation said. In a separate statement, the IOC said it "takes note of the announcement of the decision by the Court of Arbitration for Sport," upholding a Rio ban imposed by athletics governing body IAAF against Russia's track and field team.
"We will now have to study and analyze the full (CAS) decision," the IOC said.
