Olympics: Weightlifter Rostami Wins Gold For Iran

RIO DE JANEIRO, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Augst,2016) - In-form weightlifter Kianoush Rostami broke his own world record as he clinched gold for Iran in the men's 85kg competition on Friday. The 25-year-old raised 179kg above his head in the snatch before jerking 217kg for a combined total of 396 and a new world record. It was Iran's first medal at the Rio Games.
