Pakistan Occupied 10th Position In The Latest International Hockey Federation Ranking List Released

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th june, 2016) : Pakistan occupied 10th position in the latest International Hockey Federation ranking list released. According to a press release issued, Pakistan’s is ranked 10th with 1073 points.the victor of World Cup and Champions Trophy, Australia holds the top position in men's rankings, while Olympic and World champions the Netherlands crowned the women's ranking .
The men’s top three nations remained the same with Netherlands and Germany being ranked as 2nd and 3rd respectively, England survived on 4th position whereas India showed good progress beating Belgium for the fifth place while Argentina got lowered on 7th rank.
Pakistan failed to reach the top 35 in women's ranking. Whereas after the unbeatable top ranked Dutch, Argentina's splendid performance brought 2nd position for them while Australia, New Zealand and USA occupy 3rd, 4th and 5th place respectively.
