A postcard completed 55 years long journey

London, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th june, 2016) : Postcards have existed in one form or another since the 1840s and were used for writing and sending wishes and greeting without envelope to your dear ones.

In this modern era, the tradition of paper postcard is being converted and digitalized. No more paper postcards can be seen.

But a strange incident took place in London where a couple received a postcard which arrived there after completing a long journey of 55 years, 10 months and 13 days.

This postcard was posted from Landono, Wales in 1960 which finally arrived at its destination after 55 years. 64 years Yoeni and her 67 years husband James were surprised to find out that this postcard was actually posted in 1960. They expressed their happiness when they received this old postcard.
