
Budget Of Rs 1.80 Bln Presented For District Tank

TANK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th August, 2016) : District Nazim Mustafa Kundi Wednesday presented Annual Developmental Budget of 2016-17 amounting to Rs1.80 billion and termed it balanced and welfare oriented. District Nazim told meeting that no additional tax has been included in the budget.
He said that Rs1.
53billion have been allocated for salaries of employees while Rs228million have been allocated for developmental works. Kundi said an amount of Rs47.3 million has been earmarked for promotion of education, Rs20.2 million for health, Rs1.14 million each for women welfare, youth matters and promotion of sports and Rs.12.5 has been allocated as discretionary fund of district government. He directed concerned authorities to utilize the allocated amount in a fair and transparent way adding that corruption and misappropriation would not be accepted.
