Ex-LRA Warlord Pleads Not Guilty To War Crimes In Uganda

THE HAGUE, Dec 6, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 06th Dec, 2016 ) - Former child soldier-turned-warlord Dominic Ongwen pleaded not guilty Tuesday to crimes committed by the LRA rebel group in northern Uganda during a reign of terror spanning three decades.
"In the name of God, I deny all these charges in respect to the war in northern Uganda," Ongwen said as his war crimes trial opened at the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
