Irish Cabinet Agrees To Appeal EU's Apple Tax Ruling

DUBLIN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd September, 2016) : Ireland's government on Friday agreed to appeal against an EU ruling ordering Apple to pay the country 13 billion Euros ($15 billion) in back taxes and said parliament would be recalled early to debate the issue.
There was a "unanimous decision by the cabinet to appeal the decision," a finance ministry spokesman told AFP after a crunch cabinet meeting amid divisions between ministers over whether or not to accept the European Commission's finding.
