RIO DE JANEIRO, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th August, 2016) : Poland's Anita Wlodarczyk smashed her own world record in the Olympic hammer throw final here Monday to close in on the gold medal. Wlodarczyk hurled a monumental 82.29m at the Olympic Stadium to take a commanding lead as she aims to improve on her silver medal from the 2012 London Games. Wlodarczyk's mighty effort bettered her old mark of 81.08 set in 2015, by more than a metre.
