Tusk, Juncker Invite Trump To EU Summit 'at Earliest Convenience': Letter

BRUSSELS, Nov 9, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Nov, 2016 ) - The EU's top officials Donald Tusk and Jean-Claude Juncker on Wednesday invited US President-elect Donald Trump to an EU-US summit after his stunning victory in the US presidential election.
"We would take this opportunity to invite you to visit Europe for an EU-US summit at your earliest convenience," Tusk and Juncker said in a letter to Trump. "Today, it is more important than ever to strengthen transatlantic relations," they said.
