170 New Development Schemes To Be Completed: Commissioner

DG KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Nov, 2016 ) : Commissioner Muhammad Yasrab on Monday said divisional administration had sent proposals for new 170 uplift schemes costing Rs 10 billion under Annual Development Programme 2016-17 in Dera Ghazi Khan division.

Presiding over a meeting here, he said 170 new development schemes would be completed in the division including 39 schemes of Khadam-e-Punjab Rural Road Programme, besides buildings, water supply and sewerage schemes.

The commissioner said there would be no compromise on standard of work and material during execution of the schemes. He said five new projects of provincial government for DG Khan had been approved which would be completed at a cost of Rs 2.

Similarly, another project would be completed at a cost of Rs 17.6 million at Rajanpur, he added. He said development work was continuing on different projects under third phase of Khadam-e-Punjab Rural Roads Programme.

DCOs of DG Khan and Rajanpur Nadeem Ul Rehman, Chaudhry Zahoor Hussain Gujjar, respectively, Director Development and Finance Zaffar Zia, Assistant Director Planing Anum Hafeez and other officials were also present. APP/sn-ifi/zqr/ati � 20:05/20:11/20:11
