AIOU Offers Special Educational Programme For Overseas Pakistanis

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -27th Augst,2016) : Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has prepared a special plan of providing educational facilities to overseas Pakistanis, particularly those living in middle East. According to Directorate of Overseas Education, the plan includes providing online study material and arranging examination facilities in their respective countries. The directorate announced the admission-schedule for overseas Pakistanis living in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Sultanate of Oman and Bahrain, adding the last date for the admission has been fixed as September 5, 2016.
The Pakistanis stationed in these countries could submit their admissions forms along with the prescribed fee in foreign Currency within the stipulated date, the spokesman said. The Vice Chancellor AIOU Prof.
Dr. Shahid Siddiqui has laid special emphasis on providing educational facilities to the overseas Pakistanis.
Online education at higher education level is the future strategy that the University will aggressively follow to get implemented within next couple of years.
The programmes are offered in the ongoing admission (Semester Autumn 2016) includes Allisan-ul-Arabi (Basic Arabic Course), Arabic Bol Chall, Secondary school Certtificate (Matric), Higher Secondary School Certificate (FA), Bachelor Programmes and Short Term Courses.
