
Anti-Encroachment And Cattle Pen Removal Drive Intensified

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Oct, 2025) A vigorous operation against illegal cattle pens and encroachments was being carried out daily by the Municipal Corporation, Tehsil Administration, and PERA Force on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Captain (R) Muhammad Waseem.
According to the official spokesperson here on Friday, under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Shireen Gul and Municipal officer Regulation Zoya Baloch, several illegal cattle pens were demolished from various parts of the city. A number of animals were confiscated and fines were imposed on the violators.
Zoya Baloch said that the district administration reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining the city’s cleanliness and aesthetics, emphasizing that the crackdown against cattle pens and encroachments would continue indiscriminately.
She urged the citizens to cooperate with the administration to keep the city clean and well-organized.
Meanwhile, the Tehsil Administration and PERA Force also continued their anti-encroachment drive for the second consecutive day at 46 Adda.Long-standing permanent and temporary encroachments were removed, while illegal structures were demolished using heavy machinery.
