KP Governor congratulates newly elected SCBA president

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Oct, 2025) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has congratulated Haroon Rashid on his election as President of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA).

In his message, the governor highlighted the pivotal role of the bar and bench in ensuring the delivery of justice and promoting the rule of law.

He expressed confidence that under Haroon Rashid’s leadership, the legal fraternity would contribute effectively to strengthening democracy, upholding the Constitution, countering anti-state narratives, and ensuring timely justice for citizens.

Faisal Karim Kundi further noted that the Pakistan Peoples Party has consistently valued the legal community’s positive role in advancing democracy and constitutional governance.

He extended his best wishes to the newly elected office-bearers, expressing hope that enhanced cooperation between the bar and bench would help establish a strong, transparent, and accountable society.
