Appointments Not On Merit To Be Revoked: AJKLA Speaker

MUZAFFARABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th August, 2016) : Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly (AJKLA) Speaker Shah Ghulam Qadir has said that appointments in government departments against the merit would be revoked. Addressing a reception held in his honor at Kiyan Sharif of district Neelum valley on Saturday he said that money makers from Benazir Income Support (BISP) Programme would be dealt under law and kept behind the bars. He said the water supply lines would be installed across the district and network of roads would also be ensured in the district. Criticizing the previous government he said that no development project is being witnessed on the ground of local government in the district and all the money has been swallowed by corrupt mafia.
AJK Speaker said the tourism would be promoted in the area and taking advantage of its natural beauty investors would be brought here to invest on tourism sector which would help in generating job opportunities of local people, he added. He said the greater water supply scheme of Athmuqam at the cost of Rs.
2500 million would be completed within the time frame besides the tenders of Jaghran valley Road and Surghan road would be issued very soon.
