Awais Thanks PM For Recognizing Ministry's Efforts In Bringing Much Needed Reforms To Power Sector

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2025) Minister for Power Division, Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari expressed gratitude for the trust and appreciation shown by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in recognizing the Ministry's efforts to bring much-needed reforms to the power sector.
"I am thankful to the PM for his continued trust and support for our reform efforts," said a statement issued here Saturday.
He said the Prime Minister’s encouragement is extremely important for power sector reforms. The Prime Minister has declared the reforms in the Power Division as a role model for other ministries. He said that the PM has also appreciated the historic reduction of Rs. 191 billion in losses within the power sector.
