Ban Imposed On Establishing Cattle Markets Within Local Limits

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd September, 2016) : Sindh Home Department Friday imposed ban on establishing cattle markets within the local limits/jurisdiction of the Karachi Division.

The cattle markets include Super Highway, Malir 15 Asoo Goth, Cattle Mandi Landhi, Rice Godown Landhi near Babar Market, Hamdard University near Manghopir, Moach Goth Baldia Town, Cattle Mandi permitted by Station Commander Karachi in the limits of Clifton Cantonment board and Cattle Mandi permitted by President Karachi Cantonment Board in the limits of Karachi Cantonment Board are allowed with immediate effect till September 15, 2016, said a statement.

The ban is imposed in exercise conferred under Section 144 (6) Cr.PC. The SHOs of concerned Police Stations are authorized to register the complaints under Section 188 PPC in writing for the violation of Section 144 Cr. PC against the violators. APP/ars/msk/msq/ahn
