Business Community Condemns PTI's Plan To Hold Rallies

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th August, 2016) : The business community of Rawalpindi and Islamabad strongly condemned the political agitation by Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf and said it would bring adverse affects on business and trade activities.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf's (PTI) rallies would adversely affect business activities especially in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), Mian Humayun Parvez said while talking to APP here on Tuesday.
Meanwhile former President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Muzammil Hussain Sabri said that political parties should resolve their issues in the Parliament instead on roads.
He said that when PTI and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) staged sit-ins in Islamabad in year 2014, the business community had suffered a loss of billions of rupees due to unwanted closure of offices, restaurants, and business concerns in the capital of business. Hassan Sarosh said "Business community wants conducive environment to promote business activities and economic stability in the country." President, Anjuman-e-Tajran Pakistan Muhammad Ajmal Baloch said that protest and rallies were always harmful for the business environment which also halt the foreign investment in the country.
