BVH MS removed

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jul, 2025) Medical Superintendent of Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH), Bahawalpur, Dr. Amir Mehmood Bukhari, has been removed from his post following reports of administrative negligence. He has been directed to report to the Specialized Healthcare and Medical education Department.

Dr.

Farzeen Ashraf, the Additional MS of the BVH, has been assigned the additional charge of Medical Superintendent to ensure continuity in hospital operations.

This decision follows a surprise visit by Additional Chief Secretary South Punjab, Fuad Hashim Rabbani, to the hospital's emergency ward, where he took serious notice of patients' complaints and management lapses. The action was taken promptly after the visit to address the issues.
