ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23th August, 2016) : Capital Development Authority (CDA) has played a pivotal role in development of Federal Capital and provision of quality services to its residents.
These services can further be improved by ensuring timely redressal of problems and complaints of residents and in this context, no laxity and unnecessary delay will be tolerated. These views were expressed by Federal Secretary Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) and Chairman CDA, Hassan Iqbal while chairing a high level meeting at CDA Headquarters here on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by Member Administration, Member Planning and Design, Member Engineering, Financial Adviser/Member Environment, all Director Generals and senior officers of different formations of the Authority. The Secretary CADD directed all board Members and other senior officers of the Authority not only to dispose of daily business on daily basis but also notify a focal person from each directorate who will be responsible for addressing queries of general public and maintaining proper liaison with other departments.
He said that planning of all mega and public welfare projects, to be initiated in the city, should be feasible. He said that timely completion of all ongoing projects should be ensured and viable strategy be devised for initiating new development ventures. Hassan Iqbal said that both CDA and Isalamabad Metropolitan Corporation will serve the residents within their domains.
He said that senior officers of the Authority should adopt an effective strategy to improve performance of their respective wings so that not only general public could be facilitated in a befitting manner but would also help deliver in a more better way.
