QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jul, 2025) CEO of Balochistan Health Card Program (BHCP) Dr. Sami Kakar on Friday paid a visit to Sandeman Provincial Hospital (SPH) Quetta and inspected the newly established Health Card counters across various specialty units.

These counters are part of a broader initiative to ensure 24/7 availability of medicines under the Health Card scheme, aiming to improve patient access to essential treatments at no cost.

The establishment of these counters reflects the vision of the Chief Minister of Balochistan and Health Minister and to deliver free, accessible, and quality healthcare services to the people of the province.

During the visit, the CEO appreciated the efforts of the Medical Superintendent (MS) SPH and his team for their dedication to patient care and smooth implementation of the Health Card facilities.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining service quality and patient satisfaction, and assured continued support from BHCP for further strengthening hospital-based facilitation desks.

He also encouraged the hospital staff to ensure transparency, timely medicine provision and courteous patient handling, as these factors are critical to achieving the long-term goals of the Balochistan Health Card Program.
