Minister of State for National Heritage and Culture Huzaifa Rehman on Friday said that government was determined to resolve all the issues in the country including political stability
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Jul, 2025) Minister of State for National Heritage and Culture Huzaifa Rehman on Friday said that government was determined to resolve all the issues in the country including political stability.
Speaking to a private news channel, he said that the performance of government was really good on economic and diplomatic fronts.
He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) must demonstrate maturity and seriousness in political engagement.
“Political parties have the right to peaceful protest, but no one should use that as a cover for inciting violence or targeting state institutions,” he said.
He said that during PTI tenure, the party pursued a policy of political victimization by launching baseless cases against opponents.
“PTI introduced a culture of hostility in politics, treating political opponents as enemies. This adversarial mindset has damaged the democratic spirit of the country,” he added.
The minister stressed that the only way forward was through political dialogue, democratic norms, and respect for institutions.
