
CEO Pakistan Railway Visits Azadi Train

LAHORE (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th August, 2016) Chief Executive Officer Pakistan Railway Muhammad Javed Anwar on Friday visited historical galleries and culture floats of Azadi Train here at Lahore Railway Station. Divisional Superintendent Pakistan Railways Waqar Ahmed Shahid was present on the occasion.
He briefed CEO about the Azadi Train galleries and cultural floats. Talking to media on the occasion, he said that Pakistan Railway specially arranged Azadi Train in connection with Independence Day.
He said that people love mohterland and Azadi train is an efforts to provide them an opportunity to celebrate Independence across the country with Pakistan Railways.
He said more people will come here for Azadi Train during further two day stay.
Later Azadi Special Train leave for other cities. Pakistan Railways always celebrated national events in befitting manner. Replying question, he said in last three years, Pakistan Railways improved its services due to better planning and efforts in progress for further improvement of Pakistan Railways.
He said green line like advance train service is introduced. He said many new projects under plan for further improvement.
