Development Scheme Of Energy Sector Approved

LAHORE, Nov 8 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 08th Nov, 2016 ) : Punjab Provincial Development Working Party had approved the development scheme of energy sector worth Rs 165.000 million. The scheme was approved in the 28th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P&D board Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.
Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the P&D Board, provincial secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
According to Spokesman for P&DD, the approved development scheme included Updating of Feasibility Study, Preparation of PC-I, Management of Bidding Process on EPC Mode and Construction Supervision of 15-20 MW Biomass Thermal Power Project near Chak Jhumra, Faisalabad (PC-II) at the cost of Rs 165.000 million.
