District Coordination Committee Meeting Focuses On Key Issues In Chiniot

CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jul, 2025) A District Coordination Committee meeting was held at the Deputy Commissioner's office in Chiniot on Saturday, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Safiullah Gondal. Lieutenant Colonel Shoaib from the Pakistan Army also attended the meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner briefed the participants on various initiatives, including traffic management, anti-begging, and anti-drug measures. He also highlighted the enhanced security measures for foreigners and Chinese nationals.
The Deputy Commissioner informed the meeting about the ongoing campaigns against electricity thieves, LPG gas refilling businesses, and mini petrol pumps.
The meeting also discussed the anti-encroachment operation, which is being carried out across the district with full legal force.
The meeting was informed about the Safe City Project, which aims to improve law and order in the district. Lieutenant Colonel Shoaib appreciated the district administration's performance under the leadership of the Deputy Commissioner, highlighting the improved coordination between various departments.
The meeting concluded with a commitment to continue working together to address key issues and achieve development goals.
