RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jul, 2025) All Pakistan Private Schools & Colleges Association (APPS&CA) Central President Dr. Malik Abrar Hussain on Monday said the students of rural areas should be provided with educational facilities at par with the urban areas so that the entire country could make equal progress in the field of education.
Dr Malik Abrar also urged Punjab Governor Saleem Haider to take serious steps for the development of education in his constituency, especially the Attock District, Jand Tehsil and other backward areas.
He also called for playing the role in the development of private educational institutions established in the rural areas.
Flanked by Principal of Punjab College Jand Malik Matiullah, he was addressing a press conference here after taking a visit to private educational institutions in Attock, Jand and other areas on Sunday.
Dr. Malik Abrar said that the private educational institutions were the backbone of Pakistan’s education sector, and had always achieved significant achievements by maintaining high educational standards.
The private educational institutions, he said, were facing several challenges, including inflation and heavy taxes, and asked the government to provide them facilities if it wanted development of the education sector.
The private institutions should also be taken on board for policy making, he added.
Dr Malik Abrar congratulated the Punjab College administration on the excellent results and said that the recent matriculation results were proof that the students of private schools had secured the highest positions in education boards across the country.
