
Four Drug Suppliers Arrested, Over 5.5kg Drugs Recovered In Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) Police have intensified their crackdown against drug trafficking and arrested four alleged drug suppliers while recovering more than 5.5 kilograms of drugs from their possession here on Friday.
According to a police spokesperson, Ratta Amral Police have detained two drug pushers and recovered 2.
9 kg of drugs from their possession.
Separately, Gujar Khan Police arrested another drug supplier and seized 1.5 kg of drugs, while Chaklala Police apprehended another supplier with 1.2 kg of drugs.
Police said separate cases have been registered against the arrested suspects, adding that all possible measures are being taken to eliminate the menace of narcotics from society.
