
GCWUF Rally Celebrates Historic Marka-e-Haq Victory

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) Vice Chancellor (VC) Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) Prof Dr Kanwal Amin on Thursday said that the historic victory of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos (Marka-e-Haq) stands as a shining testament to the unwavering unity of Pakistani nation and the unmatched courage, professionalism and sacrifices of the Pak armed forces, whose resolute response crushed malicious designs of the enemy and created a glorious chapter in the national history.
She expressed these views while talking to the media persons during a grand awareness rally organized at the university in connection with the first anniversary celebrations of Marka-e-Haq Bunyan-um-Marsoos.
The rally was arranged to pay tribute to the sacrifices of Pak armed forces, promote national unity and strengthen patriotic spirit among the younger generation.
A large number of university students, faculty members, administrative officers and representatives from various departments participated in the event with great enthusiasm.
The participants carried national flags and raised slogans including “Pakistan Zindabad”, “Pakistan Armed Forces Paindabad” and tributes to the heroes of Marka-e-Haq, creating an atmosphere filled with national passion and patriotic fervor.
Addressing the participants, Prof Dr Kanwal Amin said that whenever the homeland faced challenges, the entire nation stood united like a solid wall alongside its armed forces.
She said that the Pakistan Army, Navy and Air Force displayed extraordinary courage, strategic wisdom and professional excellence, delivering a response that would be remembered in the history for generations.
She said that the nation owes a debt of gratitude to its brave armed forces whose sacrifices made defense of the country invincible and thwarted hostile intentions against Pakistan.
GCWUF Vice Chancellor remarked that certain historic moments are so great that words of tribute appear insufficient, adding that the remarkable achievements of the Pak armed forces during Marka-e-Haq would continue to inspire future generations.
She further said that the success of Marka-e-Haq was not merely a military achievement but also a powerful symbol of national unity, collective determination and patriotism, which united the entire nation on one platform.
Prof Dr Kanwal Amin said that educational institutions play a key role in shaping the intellectual and national consciousness of youth. That’s why the university arranged the event in a befitting manner to commemorate the historic occasion, she added.
She urged the students to always remember the sacrifices of the Pak armed forces and national heroes and utilize their abilities for development and prosperity of the country as educated youth are the guarantors of Pakistan’s bright future.
The participants on the occasion paid rich tribute to the bravery and sacrifices of the Pak armed forces and reaffirmed their commitment to remain united for the integrity, development and stability of the country.
Later, special prayers were offered for peace, prosperity, stability of Pakistan and further successes of the armed forces.
