Ghani Inaugurates Day Care Centre At Regional Police Training Center Swat

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Nov, 2016 ) : Advisor to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister for Information and Higher education Mushtaq Ghani Monday inaugurated "Day Care centre" at Regional Police Training Centre Swat.

The center was completed at a cost of Rs 8.3 million and supported by UNDP. Mushtaq Ghani said that now KP Police has equipped with modern scientific investigation equipment's and training, due to which, the police is not only performing peace keeping role but is also fighting the menace of terrorism bravely.

The Advisor thanked the friendly donors for their valuable cooperation and formally inaugurated the "Day care centre" by planted a sapling and had a round of the modern facilities at Regional Police Training Centre Swat.

The UNDP and EU, Ambassadors assured their cooperation in the social sectors on the occasion. Neil Buhne, Resident Representative UNDP Jean Francois cautain, ambassador of EU to Pakistan and high ranking police officers were also present on the occasion.

The Advisor highly appreciated the UNDP's strengthening Rule of law Project in KP, under which valuable support has been provided in the fields of Judiciary and courts, police.
