
Hajj Helpline 1966 Offers Round-the-clock Support In 11 Languages

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has enhanced communication services for pilgrims during the Hajj 1447 AH season through its unified helpline 1966, providing round-the-clock assistance in 11 languages across Saudi Arabia.
According to SPA, the unified number serves as a direct communication channel enabling pilgrims to obtain information, seek assistance and report service-related observations through a system designed to ensure quick response and efficient handling of cases.
The ministry said qualified and trained staff continuously monitor inquiries and complaints and coordinate with relevant authorities within an integrated operational framework to enhance the quality of services provided to pilgrims.
The unified contact center is supported by modern technical infrastructure and advanced systems for managing and distributing calls according to staff expertise, helping provide accurate and rapid responses while improving communication efficiency with pilgrims from different countries.
The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to improve pilgrim services and ensure easier access to information and support throughout the Hajj journey.
