LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jul, 2025) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar met with police employees and their families and listened to their problems and issued orders for immediate relief.

According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, the IG Punjab directed the Additional IG Punjab to address the promotion requests of Inspector Muhammad Tariq Wali and Inspector Abdul Rehman.

Upon the request of Traffic Warden Muhammad Shahbaz, relief was directed to the DPO Sheikhupura. Additionally, relief was instructed for the promotion request of Constable Mubarak Ali, with the DIG Establishment-II overseeing the matter. Regarding the medical financial assistance request of Sanitary Worker Sudhir Masih, the DIG Welfare and Finance was directed to provide relief.

In addition, the IGP issued directives regarding discipline, administration, promotion and welfare-related issues.
