IGP suspends ASI Regi

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th August, 2016) : Inspector General Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Khan Durrani has suspended Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Police Station Regi for holding a citizen illegally. According to details, a citizen of Peshawar complained that ASI Sadaqat Khan of Police Station Regi has kept his brother in illegal confinement.

The IGP after confirming the allegations through concerned senior police officers suspended the police officer with immediate effect. A departmental inquiry has also been ordered against the suspended police official.
