International Investors Should Exploit Opportunities In Alternative Energy Sector; Khuhro

KARACHI,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Augst,2016) : Sindh Minister for food and Parliamentary Affairs, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has said that the increasing energy demand of Pakistan could sufficiently be met through alternative energy resources such as solar and wind power and international investors should exploit opportunities in this sector. This he said while addressing as a chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the Industrial Electronic and Electrical Engineering Exhibition of Pakistan (IEEEP Fair 2016) here at Expo Centre, said a statement on Monday. Khuhro further said that such type of fairs not only produce opportunities of employment but also create awareness regarding the use of electronic and electric goods.
He said "Such exhibitions will also provide chances of progress in shape of bilateral trade contracts and relations in the field of Electrical and Electronics that will improve our penetrations in international market". The Minister added that present government believes in and encourages growth of the local industries and trade at the international level.
On the occasion he congratulated IEEEP Karachi Centre and Badar Expo Solutions for organizing this mega event.
He also visited different stalls alongwith Engr. Asif Siddiqui, the Chairman IEEEP, Navid Ansari, Convener Exhibition, Zohair Naseer, Chief Operating Officer, Badar Expo Solutions, and Syed Faisal Ali, Project Head (IEEEP Fair).
Later the Fair Memento was presented to the minister. Chairman IEEEP, Engr. Asif Siddiqui on the occasion said that the country has developed its industry of electrical and electronic appliances and equipments and its projection through this fair will bode well for the emerging industry, expanding its volume locally and international and creating business and job opportunities in future.
The Chairman added that being the country's premier Electrical & Electronics Industry exhibition, this fair has local and international representation and cover the very latest technology of electrical, electronics, lighting, telecommunication, instrumentation and control, allied services, alternate energies and other related industries.
