
KP Agriculture Minister Congratulates Newly Elected Senators

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Jul, 2025) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Minister for Agriculture, Sajjad Barakwal on Tuesday extended heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected Senators of his party on their resounding success in the recent Senate elections.
In a statement issued here from his office, Barakwal expressed the hope that the newly elected PTI Senators would play a proactive role in the Upper House of the Parliament by promoting public welfare, provincial rights, agricultural development, constitutional traditions, and national unity.
He offered special congratulations to PTI’s winning candidates for general seats, Murad Saeed, Mirza Muhammad Afridi, Noorul Haq Qadri and Faisal Javed as well as to Azam Swati for the technocrat seat and Rubina Naz for the women’s seat.
The Minister further said that the credit for this historic success also goes to Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, under whose leadership, the party achieved this milestone without any reports of horse-trading or unethical practices, breaking away from past traditions.
This victory is a reflection of public confidence in the prudent leadership of the Chief Minister and the unity within the parliamentary party, he said.
