KP Standing Committee On Health Meets

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july, 2016) : A meeting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly's Standing Committee on Health held here Thursday under the chairmanship of its Chairman Mehmood Jan. The meeting among others was attended by Provincial Health Minister Shahram Khan Tarakai, MPAs including Begum Amna Sardar, Mehmood Ahmed Khan, Mian Ziaur Rehman, Shah Faisal, Jamshed Khan and Additional Secretary Health.

On the occasion, participants of the meeting were briefed by DHO Battagram regarding recruitment in Health Department.

The meeting was also briefed regarding provision of healthcare facilities to Peshawar Medical College, its teaching and administrative matters. Later, the participants visited PMC where Dean Dr. Riazatul Haq highlighted the ongoing activities of the college with World Health Organization.
