HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) A man has booked his son in law in an FIR under charges of killing his daughter, 25 years old Mahnoor, in the wee hours of Wednesday allegedly over a domestic dispute between the couple.
According to the FIR, which has been lodged at Phuleli police station here on Thursday, Nazeer Ahmed Magsi alleged that he saw his son in law Bilal Shah coming out from the room of his house in which a gunshot was heard and from where Mahnoor's dead body was also found.
He stated that some hours before her alleged murder, he visited the house of his son in law in the late hours on May 5 to help resolve an argument between the couple.
Magsi added that Shah, his second wife Shifa and his parents besides Mahnoor were sitting in the house.
He said after their mediation Shah and his 2 wives left the sitting, adding that some time later a gunshot was heard from Shah's room.
Magsi, who is an ambulance driver in the Edhi Foundation, alleged that Shah and his second wife escaped from their home after the incident.
The dead body was shifted to Liaquat University Hospital for postmortem.
Besides Shah, his wife Shifa and parents are also nominated in the FIR.
Shah, according to the police, was a drug peddler who was booked in 20 FIRs at various police stations in the city.
