
Pakistan Don't Need Any Political Long March: Ahsan Iqbal

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st july,2016) : Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reform, Ahsan Iqbal said on Thursday that Pakistan did not need any political long march instead there was a need of an `Economic long march' for development of the country. Addressing as chief guest in an inauguration ceremony of Pakistan Education and Research Network Building and Cloud Data Centre at Higher education Commission (HEC) here, he stressed the need to work with great commitment and dedication to put the country on road of development and progress. The Minister said, with innovation in their work, people could be able to create new ideas.
Ahsan Iqbal said,"We are living in a modern world." Pakistan, he said, would become an Asian tiger after completion of Vision 2025. The Minister said, China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) initiative had provided an important opportunity to make Pakistan a developed country, adding,"Pakistan did not get such opportunity during the last 68 years." He said, Pakistan was enjoying good economic situation in 1991, but now we are lagging behind even Bangladesh.
