Peace Rally Taken Out

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july, 2016) : Civil society, religious parties and Hindu Panchait on Thursday have jointly took out a peace rally to promote peace in the Ghotki district on Thursday. The rally led by Advsior to PPP Co-Chairman, Senator Dr Abdul Qayoom Soomro, culminated at Press Club Rehrki after visiting various areas.
JUI-Fazal leaders, activists and notables beside Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Sukkur region Feroze Ali Shah, SSP Ghotki Masood Bangish, workers of Pakistan Peoples Party, lawyers, Ulema, youth and Hindu community of the district also took part in the rally. Participants of the rally stressed that people should jointly promote unity and communal harmony.
They raised slogans asking people not to promote violence.
