Peshawar Students Travel To Quetta To Show Solidarity With Blast Victims

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Augst,2016) : Students from Peshawar have started their journey towards Quetta in a special train to express solidarity with the victims of Quetta blast that killed and injured dozens of people. About 225 students from nine public sector and private universities of Peshawar set off for the journey from Cantt Railway Station at 8:00am on Thursday.
The journey is sponsored by the Pakistan Army and Higher education Commission (HEC). The train will reach Quetta today (Friday). About 2,000 students from different parts of the country will also travel to Quetta to participate in different programmes arranged in connection with Independence Day and paying tributes to the martyrs of Quetta.
