
PHA Ensuring Cleanliness Of Parks, Green Belts On Daily Basis

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jul, 2025) Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi on the directives of Director General (DG) Ahmed Hassan Ranjha is ensuring cleanliness of the parks and green belts on daily basis.
According to a PHA spokesperson, PHA workers were directed to carry out cleaning and horticulture work in the parks and green belts across the city on daily basis.
The spokesperson informed that the DG had given special instructions for the protection of the plants and flowers planted in parks and green belts for decoration and promotion of lush environment.
Special measures are being taken to maintain the freshness of the flowers and plants in parks and green belts, maintain cleanliness and eliminate stagnant water during rains.
PHA is utilizing all available resources to ensure beauty and the cleanliness of the parks. Along with this, the horticulture work is also being carried out regularly to take care of the plants and protect them from the effects of heavy rains, she added.
PHA Rawalpindi is taking solid steps to make the rain harvesting process more effective during rains.
The DG had emphasized on the protection of plants and ensuring cleanliness of parks in view of the rains, she said adding, planting saplings and lush plants is a good step to maintain a green environment.
She urged the citizens to come forward and play an active role to plant maximum saplings and ensure protection of the plants. Climate change can be tackled with a green environment. PHA is also taking special steps in this regard. The cooperation of the people is needed.
She said that according to the vision of the Chief Minister Punjab, tree plantation is also being promoted in Rawalpindi city.
