
Police Arrest 4,495 People Over Violation Of Ban On Kite-flying

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jul, 2025) Punjab Police have arrested 4,495 individuals across the province so far this year for violating the Anti-Kite Flying Act.
A total of 4,521 cases have been registered, and 3,985 challans submitted to courts. According to official data, police have seized 481,460 kites and 18,453 spools of string during operations. IG Punjab has ordered strict enforcement of the amended law, warning that violations will not be tolerated.
