
Police, Pakistan Army Conduct Joint Mock Exercise At Chinese Project Sites In Mansehra

MANSEHRA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jul, 2025) In a significant move to strengthen the security of Chinese nationals working on development projects, Mansehra Police and the Pakistan Army jointly carried out a mock emergency drill at Chinese project sites in the Balakot division here on Sunday.
The comprehensive mock exercise aimed to test the readiness of law enforcement and security forces in responding to potential emergencies involving foreign nationals.
The drill focused on improving coordination among various agencies and ensuring the implementation of effective response strategies in high-risk scenarios.
A large number of personnel from the Mansehra Police, Pakistan Army, Special Security Unit (SSU), and other law enforcement agencies participated in the exercise. The simulation included the execution of multi-phase security procedures, tactical response techniques, and inter-agency coordination protocols.
Each participating force showcased high levels of preparedness and professionalism during the exercise.
Speaking on the occasion, District Police Officer (DPO) Mansehra, Shafiullah Gandapur,emphasized the importance of these strategic projects. “The power projects under development in Mansehra are not only vital for Pakistan’s progress but also serve as the backbone of the national economy,” he said. “Ensuring the security of our Chinese partners is our top priority. We are maintaining close coordination with all security agencies and implementing modern security strategies to guarantee foolproof protection.”
The successful mock drill highlights Pakistan’s continued commitment to the safety of international collaborators and the stability of major infrastructure projects across the region.
