Prices Of Fruits, Vegetables Remain Stable In Capital

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Nov, 2016 ) : The prices of fruits and vegetables overall remained stable with minor fluctuation in some items in the Federal capital. According to the Islamabad Market Committee price list issued here Tuesday, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major difference from the price list of the previous week.
According to price list, potato sold at Rs 36 per kilogram, Onion Rs 30, Tomato Rs 85, Ginger Rs 128, Garlic (China) Rs 295, Garlic Local 295, Lemon Rs 62, Lady Finger Rs 80, Green Zucchini Rs 95, Pumpkin Rs 35, Brinjal Rs 35, Peas Rs 105, Fresh Bean Rs 55, Tinda Walaiti (Imported gourd small) Rs 45, Cucumber Rs 30, Green Chilli Rs 56, Cauliflower Rs 25/13, Cabbage Rs 44, Bitter Gourd Rs 85, Spinach Rs 19/14, Radish Rs 15, Turnip Rs 26, Yam Rs 56, Maroo Rs 34, Carrot Rs 42, Chicken Rs 122 and Egg per dozen Rs 130.
Likewise, the rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple (kala kalo) Rs 110/85, Apple Golden Rs 88/58, Apple White Rs 66/50, Apple China Rs 164/120, Banana Pak Rs 80/45,Banana India Rs118/100, Grapes Toffee Rs 150/125, Guava 60/35,Pomegranate Rs 155/120, Musumi Shakri Rs 78/54, Malok Rs 65/45,Fruiter Rs 60/45.
The people are asked to ensure that they are sold vegetables and fruits as per rate list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
