Project Launched To Improve English Language Education In Schools

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) The Punjab government has approved a major project to improve English language education in government schools, for which Rs 500 million has been allocated.

According to official sources, the task of implementing this project has been entrusted to PACTA. Under the program, special training of teachers will be organized to improve the quality of teaching.

The project will pay special attention to improving the speaking and reading skills of students, while introducing modern learning materials and digital teaching models has also been proposed.

The authorities say that this program will be launched in government schools across the province in a phased manner, while under the educational reforms, the statement and monitoring system will also be further strengthened for its effective implementation.
