
Ranjha Says IMF To Declare Soon Pakistan No More Requires Loans

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th August, 2016) : Parliamentary Secretary for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha has said International Monitory Fund (IMF) would itself soon declare that Pakistan no more required its loans or assistance programme.
The previous governments had taken loans from IMF, but the present one took concrete measures to improve national economy and law and order situation in the country, he said while talking to a private news channel. Ranjha said target killings, street crimes, terrorism and incidents of extortion had been reduced to a great extent due to operations Zarb-e-Azb and Karachi.
The peace had been restored to mega city, he added. He said the operations Zarb-e-Azb and Karachi were launched with the consensus of all the political parties. "We have achieved success in the eradication of terrorism from the country." Mohsin Ranjha said the government had launched several power projects to overcome energy crisis from the country.
Load shedding had now reduced to some six hours in cities and eight hours in villages.
