
Rawalpindi Unveils Special Traffic Plan For “Maarka-e-Haq” Anniversary Events

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi has devised a comprehensive traffic plan on Saturday to ensure smooth traffic flow and facilitate various events being held to mark the first anniversary of the historic success of “Maarka-e-Haq.”
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi Farhan Aslam said that the traffic police was standing alongside the Pakistan armed forces and the public on this occasion of national celebration, adding that all necessary arrangements had been finalized to ensure smooth travel facilities for citizens.
Congratulating the nation and the armed forces, the CTO said the success reflects the bravery, professional excellence and national resolve of the Pakistan Army.
Farhan Aslam stated that special traffic duties had been assigned to maintain the smooth flow of traffic during the events, while proper parking arrangements were also being ensured. Traffic officers and lifter squads have been directed to remain active in the field to prevent inconvenience to commuters, he added.
