Respect Of Law Helps Developing Institutions, Country: Chairman PEMRA

KARACHI,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Augst,2016) : Chairman Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Absar Aalam has said that respect of law helps developing institutions and the country. He said vibrant efforts are being made by the PEMRA that laws of PEMRA be followed by the private television channels and cable operators. He expressed these views during his visits to the offices of the cable operators and managements of private television channels here Monday.
He said the PEMRA is an independent organization and they intend that its laws be followed by the organizations concerned.
He said that his visit to Karachi aims to meet the cable operators and managements of private televisions channels to take account of their problems. The Chairman of PEMRA held separate meetings with the owners and managements of different private television channels and CEO of Home Vision Cabel, Imran Abidi and management of World Call Cable.
