Sargodha Dry Port To Bring Revolutionary Changes'

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Augst,2016) : Establishment of Sargodha dry port will bring revolutionary changes in the country's economy as well as enhance economic activities in the area. Talking to APP here on Saturday, President, Sargodha Chamber of Commerce and Industries Mukhtar Mirza said the Federal government on the directions of Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif had pleased the demand of dry port for the area and also allocated land for the new dry port near Mitha Luk railway station.

He said that dry port would contribute in the development of the city while it would also create employment opportunity for the people.

He said that it was longstanding demand of traders that a dry port should be established in the area, to accommodate business community. Annually 12,000 containers of Kinnows were being exported and after the establishment of dry port in the area, the businessmen community would get benefit of it, he added.
