
Sexual Harassment Caused A Female Cricketer To Commit Suicide

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st july, 2016) : Harassment by the top officials of the multam cricket board caused a female cricketer to commit suicide late mondy night. Haleema Rafiq, a 17 years old girl who was a resident of Multan and a fast-bowler on the national women’s cricket team,was taken to the hospital when she lost consciousness after she consumed toilet acid.
But she died soon. Haleema was buried on Tuesday and police officials said family members had declined a post-mortem. The young suicide's cause go back to a year before when 5 female cricketers along with halima faced sexual harassment in exchange for the selection in national cricket team by the Multan cricket club officials, told the cricketers while talking to media.
